I remember when I first seen this cover, the first thing that came to mind and out my mouth was I so desperately wanted to polish his "Scythe" with my looks around and whispers tongue.
But people right now I would like to polish a lot more then just his "Scythe" if you know what mean : If you didn't love him in the Rhyn Trilogy, you will definitely love him now Oh YES and surprises The way Lizzy Ford utilizes the past, present and future by twisting and turning them to make a story full of events with a magical explanation for everything. Did I mention that I am enthralled with Fords books hahahhaa!!! One thing I did notice in this book, that it flowed flawlessly. The words were blended with such a wonderful smoothness, you were at the end of the book before you realized it.
I love how she continually keeps Rhyn and Katie in the story. Well in fact she keeps all the same characters in this book.
Adding big surprises throughout the book that you will flip your wig over! I simply adore Lizzy Ford and her amazing story telling.

With the help of Gabriel Rhyn's best friend and Death's first-in-command assasin and mega-b Death, Rhyn and Katie have beat the odds. Rhyn has become the head of the Cadre of Seven a council that protects the mortals and immortals. In Gabriel's Hope, Gabriel became Death when his predecessor abandoned her Deidre position and ran away to hide in the mortal realm.
As many would say, you could not beat fate. This was what happened to Gabe and Deidre. Gabe had loved Deidre in the past, but it diminished when hatred built up in his heart because of her impossibility and cruelty. He was immediately attracted to her due to her kindness and free-spirited attitude. The dying woman who had pink dye on her hair and looking like a water sprite was conveying to Gabe her bucket list. One of the things on her bucket list was to have a one-night stand with the stranger. So it happened. Gabe was shocked the next morning when he saw who the dying woman was and his name was tattooed on her back.
